The difference between ferromanganese magnetic ring inductance manganese zinc and nickel zinc
The company has a team of engineering and technical personnel and skilled technicians. The company continues to develop, innovate, diligent and pragmatic spirit, strive for management, first-class reputation, first-class quality, first-class service, welcome domestic customers to visit and guide.we are provide ferrite rod supplier, you can know it.
The ferrite magnetic ring inductor is further divided into a manganese-zinc ferrite magnetic ring and a nickel-zinc ferrite magnetic ring, and the calcined material is different depending on the materials used.
Nickel-zinc ferrite magnetic rings are mainly made of oxides or salts of iron, nickel and zinc, and are manufactured by an electronic ceramic process. Manganese-zinc ferrite magnetic ring This is made of iron, manganese, zinc oxides and salts, and is also manufactured by electronic ceramics.
The two materials are basically the same in terms of materials and processes. The only difference is that the two materials, manganese and nickel, are different. These two different materials, their use on the same product is very different.
The manganese-zinc material has a high magnetic permeability, and the nickel-zinc ferrite has a low magnetic permeability. MnZn ferrite can be used in applications where the operating frequency is below 5MHz. Nickel-zinc ferrite has a high resistivity and can be used in the frequency range of 1MHz to hundreds of megahertz.
Except for common mode inductors, the impedance of manganese-zinc materials is the best choice for applications below 70MHz, and nickel-zinc materials are recommended for applications from 70MHz to hundreds of gigahertz.
The MnZn ferrite bead is generally used in the frequency range of kilohertz to megahertz. Capacitors, transformers, filter cores, heads and antenna rods can be fabricated. Nickel-zinc ferrite bead can be used to make magnetic cores such as mid-circle transformers, magnetic heads, short-wave antenna rods, tuned inductive reactors and magnetic saturation amplifiers. The application range and product maturity are superior to those of Mn-Zn ferrite magnetic rings. Much more.
How do you distinguish between two magnetic cores? The following two specific methods are introduced.
1. Visual measurement method: Since manganese-zinc ferrite generally has a relatively high magnetic permeability, the crystal grains are large and the structure is relatively compact, and it is often black. Nickel-zinc ferrite generally has a low magnetic permeability, a fine and small crystal grain, and a porous structure, which is often brown, especially when the sintering temperature is relatively low during the production process.
Based on these characteristics, we can use visual methods to distinguish. In places where the light is bright, if the color of the ferrite is black and bright, the core is MnZn ferrite; if the ferrite is brown, the gloss is dim, the grain is not Dazzling, this core is nickel-zinc ferrite. Visual inspection is a relatively crude method that can be mastered after certain practices.
2, test method: This method is more reliable, but requires some test equipment, such as high resistance meter, high frequency Q meter.
